Friggins Cove Pond, officially Fagan's Pond or Fagan's Cove Pond is large pond near Apsey Brook. It drains into a brook of the same name which contain steadies on its way to a large waterfall or rattle at the shore at Friggins Cove.
In past times the brook from the rattle to the shore was used to power sawmills.
The pond has a large protruding point, named Pinsent's Point, that disguises how large it actually is when seen from the main pathway. According to oral history, the name Fagan was that of someone that built a schooner or got the timber to build a schooner.[1]
